The AMERICAN COACHING ACADEMY offers you three levels of coaching certification to prepare you for the challenges of youth and high school sports. All course material is based on the 2008 NASPE National Standards for Sports Coaches, and backed by decades of scientific research and real-world coaching experience. Completing an ACA program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to gain credibility and feel more confident in your coaching role. You will discover how to work with parents, create a positive learning environment, keep athletes safe and healthy, and help them excel in sports and skill development. Each level of certification contains two to three courses that cover the coaching techniques and strategies related to a specific topic.

HOW IT WORKS: Earning Your Certification is as Simple as 1, 2, 3

AMERICAN COACHING ACADEMY courses are designed to fit your busy lifestyle. Our entire certification program, from enrollment to evaluation to printing out your certificate, is completed entirely online in three simple steps.

First, simply enroll through our secure server. All your personal information will be kept 100% confidential and will not be shared with any unauthorized 3rd party.

You'll receive a unique login so you can access the course from the comfort of your own home, office, or anywhere you can access the Internet.

Second, complete the online course material at your convenience. All courses are designed as interactive learning modules, so you will be confronted with real-life scenarios and situations to test your coaching knowledge. At the end of each course, you'll complete a short examination.

Third, once you have completed the requirements of your program, you will receive a digital certificate customized with your name and program details. Simply print the certificate out as proof of your program completion.

As a coach, you are a teacher and a mentor. You spend considerable time with young athletes and have the potential to greatly influence their development. The mission of the AMERICAN COACHING ACADEMY is to arm you with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on your athletes and teach them valuable life lessons through participation in sport. Since 2003, the ACA has provided quality coaching education to youth and high school sports coaches in all 50 states (and 18 different countries). All of our courses are offered online, and can be completed in the comfort of your own home or office, and on your own schedule. Regardless of where or when you receive your certification, you'll walk away with a world-class coaching education that focuses on the care, health, performance and safety of your athletes.
